Indira Gandhi National Open University has launched a graduation level program in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for the youth of the country on the eve of World MSME Day, 2022.

The School of Vocational Education and Training in IGNOU has taken the initiative for admission from July 2022 session. 12th passed students will be able to apply for BA Micro Small and Medium Enterprises program.

The program will meet the current needs of a young entrepreneur and help him develop his knowledge and skills to set up a business venture. This program will help in increasing employment opportunities among the youth in India.

This course will help in developing the knowledge to identify business opportunities, market studies, innovation and implementation. This includes new project planning, designing, exploration of investment opportunities, development and maintenance of business, marketing and social networking, taxation and licensing etc.

This course is of three years duration but maximum it can be completed in 6 years. Its fee is Rs 5100. Although it is currently in English medium.
